Explain how your back pain affects your day
Accident-related back complaints may include low or mid-back pain, muscle soreness, stiffness, or difficulty moving comfortably. Several structures can contribute to pain; symptoms alone do not identify the cause.
Tell Dr. Moore where your pain is, when it started, whether it travels, and what makes it better or worse. Bring any emergency-room paperwork or previous imaging reports you have.
What your evaluation may include
We review the collision, your health history, prior back problems, and current symptoms. Your examination may include movement assessment, palpation, and clinically appropriate orthopedic and neurologic tests.
Dr. Moore discusses whether chiropractic care is suitable and whether additional testing or referral to another provider is needed. A treatment plan is based on your findings and daily needs.
Keep a few notes before your visit
- Which movements or positions have become difficult?
- Has your pain changed since the accident?
- Are you having new leg symptoms or other concerns?
- How is your back affecting sleep, work, or daily activities?
You can discuss these details during your visit. For appointment requests by text, a simple request is enough; you do not need to send detailed medical information.
